The cable is of fairly solid construction. Longtime user of StarTech products. This nice long cable allows my printer and scanner to be placed in one of the few free spaces in my home office. Since the cable is longer than usual [15 feet], I tested it for misbehavior with several high-resolution scans and found nothing. Tested with two scanners, one of which is quite cranky, works like a charm.

Ordered this after recurring problems with my laser printer not printing large files. The printer buffers and about halfway through loading the file for printing, the printer throws an error. My printer is halfway across the room and doesn't support WiFi, so I daisy-chained several USB extenders across the room to get to the PC. That's never a good idea. Arrived in two days (Revain Prime) and worked as it should. I've been using it for about 2 months now and it's still working fine. I liked the quality of this cable - the wire is thicker and seems to weigh a bit. Of course he just sits there! I bought a cheaper cable that didn't work right away, which annoyed me.
