It holds a ton of stuff - my laptop, books, electronics, groceries, water, etc - and still has room. Yes, it fits easily under the seat and allows easy access to everything inside. Padded shoulder straps and durable construction. I assume it will hold up well.

I travel quite a bit so TravelPro is the obvious choice. Has all the features I need including space for two laptops. My main reason for buying this product is the strap that allows me to carry it over my carry on which I am also a TravelerTravelPro. Unfortunately, the durability does not live up to expectations, the main seam began to diverge a month after purchase and got worse and worse. This is a really solid bag and I'm immediately happy with it. When you receive it it appears quite small at first but can expand amazingly and had no problem accommodating all of my stuff.
