Too big for a 5 " woman

They're comfortable but I'm a petite woman so they're too big. The sock pulls up over the knee which is uncomfortable. The arch support doesn't work that way good as it would fit. This is a good product for a large foot and longer leg.Small women should look elsewhere.

Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Not the best value, doesn't last.

Bought for a transcontinental flight. When I first put them on they were fine and just what I wanted. After washing in the cold, they got smaller. Now my calf socks are down to two-thirds of the way down the calf and we keep falling. The second time I hand washed it and when I put it on I found a hole in my socks. What a waste.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great for offshore flights

I now wear these socks when traveling from the US to Africa and the Pacific Islands. I'm glad I had them. They worked great. Usually on long flights, the legs start to bother me a lot. This was a big support. It takes a little time to get dressed, but if you work with it like your wife does with a pair of nylon stockings and gather them together before you put them on, it all works great.

Not your father's support tube.

My husband flies a commercial airline and a helicopter for work. He also stands for a long time in training. He is also at risk for blood clots. Yes. I thought it would be difficult to even get him to wear them on a commercial flight, but now he prefers to wear these socks all the time. He noticed that after wearing these socks, his feet became less tired and swollen. Bought enough to get him away from home for a week and several different colors. For the price, I consider it an investment in…

An indispensable thing for long flights on a trip.

Needless to say, sitting on a plane for hours without being able to walk is bad for your leg circulation, no matter your age. That's why I started using Travelsox. Although for my foot/sock size I did notice that it's a bit large. I originally bought the medium one, but after a few washes it no longer fits perfectly. I read some reviews that said there was some shrinkage but I noticed the exact opposite so I ordered a size small which seems to fit well. However, I'll have to see how well it…

Ideal for long haul flights

When I first flew long haul I didn't realize my ankles were swollen. I wore running socks with running shoes and had a lot of fluid buildup in my ankles. It was very uncomfortable and looked awful! I definitely bought a pair of compression stockings for my next long haul flight (16 hours) and these socks were perfect. They roll right under my knees. I had no swelling! Feet do not sweat, there is no smell. I wore it on a 16 hour flight, a 14 hour layover and then another 2 hour flight. They…

I bought 4 pairs they were so comfortable.

I wear them every day when I need socks. It is great. I would use a cold wash and NO DRYER. I think they will last longer. Hang them up after washing. They dry quickly. Well padded with high quality. Not too tight like some I've had which actually caused cramps in my feet and legs. They are slightly thicker than thinner nylon spandex types. If your shoes or boots (tall boot length) are already tight, get bigger shoes or just buy a pair to see if they match your existing shoes. If you know they…

It is great. best among men

I work in a job where I am on my feet for 8 hours, then I go home for another hour. My work gets my feet wet all the time, so I was concerned that they might ruin them or that they wouldn't "wick moisture" as advertised. But they do a great job of keeping my feet dry. Socks not only because my feet were wet, but also because it's pretty much constantly around 0 degrees here. These socks are actually warmer than my standard thicker socks. I think because they are so long they actually pretend to

Small too big for my size 7 feet swollen

This is really subjective as half the reviews say they are very tight and half say they are too loose. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance that is causing my whole body to swell by about 15 pounds. My legs turned into great blocks of cinders; with an increase of almost 50%. I tried on these socks WHILE I was swollen. I am a woman who wears size 7 shoes. I have skinny feet and lower legs (unless they are swollen); 5'3", 155 lbs. According to the sizing chart, I should have bought the medium…
