More Great Things From TRENDnet

I have quite a bit of TRENDnet gear in my open shelving and storage closet. It didn't disappoint. We needed something with grounding/shielding for our external devices and it worked great. Excellent material quality and optics. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Would buy again for sure.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Not the Best

Simple and Effective Patch Panel

This is a great panel for anyone starting out or looking to expand a network rack in their home. The keystones fit perfectly, the panel is pretty stiff and fits my needs perfectly. my house, but it's not particularly expensive and gives you the freedom to grow as much as you need.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Clarity

Reliable but buy Recommended keystone jacks

Solid but doesn't fit the Cable Matters (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IO3HGUM/) keystone jack I bought (they were too big). Be sure to purchase TRENDnet's recommended keystone jacks. I had to buy two Cable Matters 24-port patch panels: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0072JVT02/.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Excellent Modular Jack Patch Panel

This patch panel is excellent for keystone jacks. So far I've used VCE connectors, Vandesail RJ45 adapters, Trendnet TC-K50C6BK tool-less RJ45 adapters, and C&E CNE581316 F-type (coax) adapters. So far, none of them have had any issues, whether plugging them in for the first time or unplugging them. One thing I'd like to discuss better is the cable routing lever. The documentation is not really included. I was trying to run a Cat5 cable through the U shape in my hand for the specified port…

Pros
  • Fully customizable with standard HD keystone jacks, numbered wire management bar, numbered and writable keystone jack labels
Cons
  • Legacy

Received used product unassembled

The patch panel I received was clearly used as can be seen in the pictures; You can see where someone scratched each of the four corners. Also, the panel was disassembled - the cable management bar was detached from the patch panel with no clear reassembly instructions. It's not broken, just not assembled. I'm new to patch panels and thought they came fully assembled - at least the other two I ordered. Again, there were no instructions for attaching the cable management bar, so I just folded…

Pros
  • For use with Keystone TC-K06C6A Cat6A shielded connectors (sold separately)
Cons
  • So far so good
