Waste of money

This plate holder is completely useless. All that holds it together, at least in theory, is a pair of thin springs. The springs may be long enough to fit a 14-20 inch record (and some later I think), but they aren't strong enough to actually hold the record. As soon as the weight of the plate rests on the bracket, the springs are tensioned and the plate rolls to one side or the other. The hooks are too close together even when I bent them apart as far as possible to securely hold a large plate.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Wrong size. Yet again!

This is the second cymbal holder I've bought from Revain and it doesn't actually fit the cymbal size listed. I did this work with some zip ties, but I will no longer buy record hangers online. While the price may seem reasonable, it's worth investing the time and money to go to a hardware store or craft store to purchase these items so you can be sure you're getting what you expect.

Pros
  • Stainless steel springs
Cons
  • Quick guide

Perfect for me, but if your plate is a little crooked.

I've read some negative reviews but this is perfect for me. The silicone on the hooks isn't too bad and I was pleasantly surprised that it fitted perfectly. The ONLY thing for me was that I had to use skeleton wire because my real panel is curved so it hangs lower or sticks out of the wall. So this is a tip for those with plates or dishes that aren't entirely flat.

Pros
  • Comes with a clear coat time
Cons
  • Only available in white

Converts to accommodate larger bowls

Until someone does something the world really needs - something to discreetly hang large, beautiful bowls, that has to be done. Since the hanging rod is next to the large bowl, it cannot reach the hooks on the wall. My solution is to combine two of them. One of the smaller ones I had on hand to donate to the greater good. Next time I'll probably buy three to hang two huge bowls. In case you're wondering, I used a 35# OOK MonkeyHook to hang the bowl.

Pros
  • Easy to install with hook and nail with wires
Cons
  • No instructions
