Good quality tester to start with but degrades over time. Although this can be explained by frequent use and it has served me for more than a year, the connections inside the tester are starting to fail and soon I will no longer be able to trust its readings.

Ehh. As an IT pro, I was looking for something small so I wouldn't have to lug around a large $600 device in a small tool bag. Unfortunately, there were errors in this sound/test device. I connect it to my phone or data system and sometimes it works, other times it goes completely off or is unresponsive until I unplug it. I also wish it had a dedicated phone jack and a coax connector instead of a BNC security camera tester.

As a system and network administrator, I use this tool quite often. It works exactly as intended and I couldn't be happier with it. The detachable loop saves lives and allows me to test from a wall outlet in a room to a patch panel in the main electrical panel. The travel case has the connection cables and clamps in the same place as the tester itself. I was also surprised by the battery life, which is very good.
