This is definitely not 14k gold, worn one day, the hole in the earlobe has become infected and everything has turned a rusty colour.

The packaging doesn't say these backs are 14k white/yellow gold as described. So I have to accept this in the cost/package description.

I would like us to give zero stars to represent an entirely negative review. As others have said these earrings are terrible. They are definitely not gold, especially not 14k. There is no label on the product to indicate this. I can only wear gold - I'm allergic to all metals including unbuckled silver. These earring backs faded almost immediately, have a metallic smell and are very irritating and infecting my ear! Don't waste your money on this mis-advertised product!

I have sensitive ears and can't wear earrings other than 14K gold or higher. Including the back. I bought these backs to replace a couple that had been lost and since wearing them I've had allergic reactions to the backs including crusting and bleeding.
