The M8x1.25 mounting screws were too short to attach the bracket to the back of my new 49" Samsung QLED QN49Q6F TV, although Revain recommended a mounting system for this TV. It took a trip to the hardware store and for that it gets 2 stars. It is also a well thought-out fastening system. I ended up using 60mm screws for the recessed mounting holes on the bottom of the TV.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Great product, the weight specification didn't hold up for me.

I bought to install a 46 inch TV and to be able to slide the TV in and out. The reach and flexibility is exactly what I was looking for, but when I placed the TV on the end of the mount the spring no longer held it. I adjusted the bolt tension as instructed and it still went from high to low. It is rated at 44 pounds. I weighed my TV and it weighs 33 pounds so it should have stayed where it was. A little disappointing. I returned it and bought a solid folding arm style.

Pros
  • Complete set

Very strong and well built

Very strong and well built. Not wide enough for my Samsung 55 inch flat screen TV. Too narrow at 1/8 inch. I compensated for this by flipping the vertical bars that support the horizontal bars. To do this, I widened 4 holes with a 3/32 inch diameter file. To mount on two adjacent wall studs 16" apart, the center line of the TV must be midway between the two studs. Luckily, I was able to easily move my TV 5 inches to accomplish this. I believe mounting with a bolt and using two anchors throughโ€ฆ

Not for 55 " TVs.

This bracket fits a small TV but not my 55" Samsung Q6F. The M* screws were too short (as others have pointed out) and I had to order the correct screws to attach the vertical bars to the TV but what was even more frustrating was that I absolutely could not reach behind the installed TV to tighten the sliding bottom hook that secures the TV to the wall mount I felt uncomfortable with expensive and fragile gear hanging freely from only the top hooks, so I'm sending the mount back.Otherโ€ฆ

M8x30 screws too short

I used it for a 40 inch TV which is quite thin especially at the top less than 1/2 inch then it gets wider at the bottom maybe around 1 inch and 1 /2. Little did I know when I bought this mount that the screws would be too short. After all, the TV is not so fat. My TV had wall mount adapters that had screws going through them and no matter how hard I tried those 30mm screws just didn't work, they were 13-15mm shorter. The instructions for the TV and the wall mount were not good. I read themโ€ฆ
