VERY expensive for extension cords and surge protectors

Absolutely excellent 20Amp 115 volt extension cords. The problem is that they are VERY expensive. You pay for the Tripp Lite name. I can't ask for better quality but I think since not many companies make 20 amp extension cords they will give you crazy prices.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • There are cons

I like this purchase so far

Used for welding (141 Miller). Plugged into an outlet with a 20 amp circuit breaker. I've flipped that switch several times in the past. Never burst during my welding work here. Very strong build. You could swing this thing against zombies to protect yourself if you have to.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Description is misleading if you don't catch it know disqualification given in the main text. INPUT PLUG is NEMA 5-20P (not 5-15P as specified in specifications). One of the positive pins is rotated 90 degrees relative to the other, rather than two pins pointing in the same direction (-I vs. II). I had to send it back as the standard outlet didn't work. It appeared to be well built and performed well. The description should be updated to correctly reflect the input connector type.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • For old

PINS on opposite side for US outlet

Not made for USA 20 amp, pins are opposite my plug. waste of time and money. It should be clear in the description and picture where the prongs are because that is what matters. He has to go back because he's no use to me.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Out of style

It really works and is worth the money

Glad to find that most extension cords available from major stores have had problems. I tried to heat a closed caravan with 2 oil heaters in winter through 5 different extensions that got hot ordered me this one it does the trick it doesn't get hot even with both heaters connected to setting #4 on the heaters when I turn the heaters on turned it up, the extension at the end of the plug a little warm but not bad, this plugs into a dedicated 20 amp circuit with no problems after 4 weeks of use

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • No instructions

Very durable for power strips and surge protectors

Shaped like a tank, this 20A power strip handles my daily power needs with ease. It's nice to be able to expand your catering options when you work in a shop.

Pros
  • A handy item
Cons
  • Can I add something

Good workmanship correct functions

I use it for my home treadmill and a special 20A circuit. It works as intended with the orange power light which is a positive feature so I don't have to wonder if my treadmill is on or off (my treadmill draws power even when not in use, so leave it off until the machine is usable). I ran at high speeds to adjust the height of the treadmill and the extension cord didn't work, so the 20 amp rating seems fine to me.

Pros
  • Metal case
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It really works and is worth the money

I'm glad I've had trouble with most extension cords that big stores have had. I have been trying to heat a closed trailer in the winter with two oil heaters after that 5 different extensions were ordered hot to use these it does the trick of not getting hot even with both heaters on the #4 setting on the Heaters are plugged in, when I turn the heaters up the extension gets a little warm to the end Plugs but not bad, it's hooked up to a dedicated 20 amp circuit with no problems after 4 weeks of…

Pros
  • 15ft power cord with NEMA 5 20P plug
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Expensive, worth every penny

Most power strips are pretty anemic; Even though they're rated for 15 amps, you kinda overpower them when you go that far. This strip actually has a proper 20 amp power plug (a prong rotated 90 degrees) so you can only plug it into 20 amp rated outlets. Once that's done, the sockets on them become very heavy and you can do some serious work without worrying about the components getting hot or otherwise causing an impending failure. In cases where you are using power tools, even if they are…

Pros
  • Illuminated switch with cover
Cons
  • High price
