View order for best protective gear

I tried to order for myself but when I changed size I ended up ordering a child size and was able to cancel later that day. Even though the title says "adult" it changes to child size when you click on the big one.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No automatic

Best low profile knee pads I've found

I was looking for knee pads to use on local trails. These TLD pads probably aren't made for downhill racing, but if you just want some light protection from accidental collisions, look no further. I also tried the low profile POC knee pads before getting them. They were too uncomfortable and bulky for my thin legs.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Out of style

I forgot I'm wearing them. and that's good

These are the first mountain bike knee pads I've had the chance to use. They stay on foot as both the top and bottom edges of the pads have a slightly sticky silicone-like strip on the inside. The pads do not press on the back of the leg and do not restrict movement. They are very "pedal friendly". In fact, after about 10 minutes I practically forgot I was wearing them.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

very comfortable, minimal protection

my complaint about these I haven't had with other knee pads in the past, they slide off my knee in a fall causing extra knee cuts. A few holes have also formed on the soft side seams over the year, but this has not yet affected its use. No lateral knee protection. If you fall with them you'll still get cuts and bruises if that's even a decent fall. But it will be much better than not having knee pads.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • not sure

They're a little more comfortable, but a lot hotter.

. They are a little more comfortable but much hotter. Great for the winter months but I use Alpine Stars in the summer. I've washed them a few times on the gentle cycle and they continue to hold up. worth your money. There was a good crash with them that resulted in honeycomb cuts on the pillow, but without them it would be a bloody mess. The knee pad is undamaged.

Pros
  • . Good product for the price.
Cons
  • . Good but not great.
