💧 Efficient Water Filtration on the Go: Tru View Spigot Travel Alexapure Systems Review

Tried to use my Big Berkey without Tru-View, funny! Why not every Berkey comes with Tru-View is beyond me. Overflows were common, especially since the flowery filters are in the tank. If you want to buy Berkey, I recommend buying Tru-View.

I love this faucet! I now know exactly where my water is. Before adding the top section with filters I filled them in and as the nozzle filled I marked each gallon. Now I love my Big Berkey water filtration system even more. I've been saving money and no more plastic water bottles since day one.

Good value for money. Works perfectly. A slightly tapered washer (like the washer on a Berkey faucet) reduces the chance of the plastic faucet deforming during installation as it must be tightened to prevent leakage. I ended up with a Berkey washing machine. Although I'm happy.

I bought this for my Berkey water filter. I love it because now I can see where the water level is and I don't have to worry about it overflowing and having to mop the floor! The tube is made of glass. The spout is another plus as it has a lever that stays open if you want it too. I like it when I fill the dog water bowl. Wish it was stainless steel too.

This is a lifesaver! I know immediately if my Alexapure needs more water. No guesses. It shouldn't be an option, it should be the default! This size is perfect for my Alexapure. Helps prevent overflow (you still have to use your head). What I don't like now is the weak mount and if you push the lever too hard it tends to leak. He wants to turn in one direction or the other. Small issues compared to what he's doing right.

I don't understand how to use the Berkey without a sight glass. This happened a few days after Berka was founded. I read several reviews about the installation and many used the original washers instead of the ones that came with it. Tried to use from a delivery set - merged. Tried to tighten - drip. The third attempt was to start over and swap out the thin inside, thick outside shims and offset valve after finger tightening the inner nut. Instead of 1/4 turn I went about 1/2 turn to straighten

I couldn't find this in the right size on the Berkey retailer sites so finally decided to check it out here. I wish I had done this sooner! Here it is cheaper and the product looks the same. It's very strong and the glass tube is quite thick. I had read other reviews so I knew to use the shims that came with the kit and not the ones that came with this one. Easy easy!
