Based on my experience, this pepper shaker is a great addition to any kitchen. The sleek design and 2 inch slope make it easy to use and adds a touch of class to any dining table. However, it can be a bit difficult to fill and requires frequent refilling.

The first problem with this set was that the bottom of the salt shaker would not open no matter how much force was used. The product description does not match the product. The "rust-free finish" is chrome plated plastic and the wood is faux plastic wood. It is poorly made and cannot be recommended for purchase. Returned on credit.

The salt shaker is difficult to fill without spilling a few teaspoons of salt. After a few months, the lid is stuck forever and can no longer be filled. The pepper mill's plastic cap falls into the food as you turn the head to grind the pepper. I was looking for a pepper mill that wouldn't leave a mess on the countertop. I felt like I would have avoided this problem with a grinder on the shaker. That was the only benefit of owning this item.
