Liked the weight and quality of the fabric. Fabric colors are not as bright as online. There are also no sequins on the yoke as stated in the caption of the dress's description. Very deceptive. Seems to fit the size. Loved the simple dress style, not overloaded like some with ruffles. In general, I think the granddaughter will like the dress, so my opinion is secondary at best. I hope she makes the returns annoying!

If your daughter is slim, this dress might suit her. We ordered a black and white polka dot dress. The fabric doesn't stretch at all and the cut is thin. My daughter usually wears a 12/14 and is of average weight, girlish build, no curves. We tried size 14 and it looked very good but was tight in the middle, didn't stretch comfortably and didn't allow for easy movement while playing the piano. I ordered this dress for my daughter's music program. She's between a size 7 and 8 at the moment so I ordered an 8 hoping she could wear it longer and not outgrow it on her next growth spurt.
