Perfect for the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. I can't speak of a change in reception as I don't hear more than one local high power station. I bought it for a car wash (without having to remove the stock antenna every time).

Cheap workmanship, poor, not what was expected. Gets no signal at all. I think I could do better if I bought it at a dealership. You know how cheap and unusual they look. Just came in a cheap white cellophane wrapper on all sides.

Replaced the huge factory antenna on my Ram 1500 because it was banging on branches and anything that hung low. It did the job of cleaning up the look and avoiding low-hanging branches, but since I only get a signal 40 percent of the time, I'm going back to the factory until I find something better.

I live in Temecula, California and the closest stations are 75 miles either way around the foothills and it works fine. My stock bent at the car wash so I didn't rock anything until I got this one. Plus it's $16 folks. If you give less than 3 stars you are just an idiot and people should ignore your review. I installed it on my 2017 Ram 2500.

Installed on my 2013 Ram 2500. I normally listen to Sirius and my antenna is never replaced after a car wash so I figured listening to FM every once in a while was better than nothing. I was wrong. Reception was slightly better than without the antenna and not good enough to use without being frustrated by interference and FM stations fading in and out.

I kept forgetting to remove the antenna from my Ram 1500 before washing. Every time I went into the standard antenna it flexed and I had to spend time bending it back. Order this rubber antenna now and no problem. I mainly listen to satellite radio, but I've tried local stations and haven't experienced any problems with reception. This is the perfect replacement for the factory antenna on my 2016 Ram 1500! I have no problems with AM or FM reception. Just as good as the original. I mainly use satellite radio, but due to a problem at the car wash I decided to go with a traditional antenna and I still wanted it to work. Unfortunately this short antenna didn't fit me. I have a 2018 Ram that originally comes with an old school 31 inch antenna. I bought it for two reasons: 1- it was shorter and more convenient for automatic/touchless car washes, 2- it looks cleaner without sacrificing sound quality.
