Fits exactly as it should and holds the correct size cups just enough. If I had to find a complaint I would say that the cup size is not adjustable (find a Goldilocks tier suitable for reuse and keep it).

It works great in my 2009 Outback and gives a very badly designed cup holder a much needed baffle, which prevents cups from falling. It took me a minute to figure out how to install it, but once I shone my flashlight to get a better view, it was easy to figure out.

I've been missing this part in my car since I bought it and I've always hated cup holders because things tip over so easily. I stumbled upon this by accident and can't believe I went 4 years without it. Super easy installation, just press and twist, looks solid enough. A good find if you're buying an older Subie and might be missing this part.
