Fits well and I love that it has a handy drawstring cord to tighten when needed. My 8 year old wears them because he is very small and skinny for his age. His previous swimming trunks were a size 3, but they were still loose. I recommend this for kids who are on the skinny side as you can pull them up. My son loves this green so it's perfect for him. Well washed.

My son is tall, skinny, 5 years old (wears a size 6-7 in shirts and 6 in pants just for length) and we were looking for a longer swim trunk for him and they were perfect (and at a great price!). We ordered it in size 5-6. He weighs about 43 pounds. and about 47 inches tall, and these panties were the perfect waist size (because it's so skinny) and length (they were just below his knees). adjustable cable.

They are just huge! We have 3T and 5T - 3T was huge for my (tall, skinny) 5 year old, my (stocky, average) 2.5 year old just couldn't stop laughing while they tried on 3T because they were so funny. The sizing is gigantic in both width and length - each leg can fit a full child and still have room, and the length is more like cropped pants than shorts/bathing suit. Her waists were fine, only the cut of her legs was completely stupid. Although I liked the material and assembly!
