My daughter usually wears a size 10-12 when she wants it loose. We ordered a size 13 because the dress needed to be floor length and she is very tall (5ft 1in) as you can see even at a size 13 this was not possible let alone what my daughter (11 years old) said that she wanted it . Bought this for my niece. I bought it a size bigger and it fits perfectly. However, it was a little longer than her. However, it's okay. We simply cut it and with heels it's perfect. Highly recommended, but prefer to buy one size larger.

This dress is just right. The bodice is too big and square. My daughter looks like a big rectangle. If the bottom was plumper, maybe it would produce a better shape.

This dress is very disappointing. It's not nearly as fluffy as in the photo. There are only 2 layers of tulle. I used a hoop for the skirt and it still wasn't as full as the picture shows. The top lace is transparent, not solid like the picture. There is sheer fabric under the top but not on the arms and my daughter found it very itchy. In this feeling, I agree with her. It also had loose threads. Returned it the next morning.

On the plus side it's a fun unique print. I bought a little bigger thinking it would run small but it doesn't, the size is right. However, the picture and description says there is a layer of lavender tulle on the outside. It's only white, so the color is more muted. Still pretty but not as bright as in the picture. In addition, the tulle must be steamed, as it creases a lot. Use a petticoat if you want the skirt to be as fluffy as shown in the picture.
