Great purchase in my opinion.

I bought these for my daughter to write with. She is very picky about her shoes. If they are uncomfortable, she will not wear them. She seems to love them and they work great!

Pros
  • Excellent quality. Lasted a long time and is holding up great.
Cons
  • Ordered a size larger, still didn't fit.

GREAT BOOT, HORRIBLE SHIPPING!

The reason I'm giving these boots one star is because I ordered my 3 daughters almost a month ago. I received a pair but the other two pairs are not available yet. I am aware that the product is no longer in the hands of the company once it has been shipped. That's why I gave the product itself 5 stars. Boots are great. true size. Like any leather boot, they need to be broken in a bit. They have a great memory foam sole and are my daughter's favorite boots. However, my other two daughters'…

Pros
  • They are perfect for a child to ride.
Cons
  • Difficult to crack causing blisters and discomfort

too tight, no matter how big

I bought size 11 and 12 for my almost 6 year old daughter. While a size 11 would have been just right for her toes, it was too tight on top of her foot. The 12 had too much room in the toe but was still too tight in the top of the foot. I'm sending both pairs back.

Pros
  • They have excellent cushioning and support. Fits perfectly.
Cons
  • Boots appear to be used

The job is great for beginners!

I bought these for my 5 year old daughter as she has just started riding and they fit her perfectly. She can wear them to any class and show. They fit well. Easy to put on and hold on for good posture while riding.

Pros
  • I love this product and it's so convenient for my daughter! She loves it! I couldn't be happier!!
Cons
  • I bought them in June and only wore them a dozen times. upset

ATTENTION, IT WILL INTERRUPT AFTER 6 LESSONS!

BEWARE! That went for 6 hours with the lead cord, then the entire sole came loose. Don't waste your money. For a few euros more take Ariat, they last a long time!

Pros
  • These boots were fine, I didn't step too big on my horse and they fell apart, but good boots for young riders
Cons
  • Limited range of sizes available

The inner lining is already loose, only worn twice!

Not impressed with this shoe. My son received them 3 days ago and wore them at home only to break as they were quite stiff. He wore them for about 4 hours in total and the inner lining is already torn and dangling. The inside of the heel is different for every shoe, one is padded and the other is not? Unfortunately I can't recommend them, they don't last at all! Edit: The seller was very quick and immediately offered a refund. Maybe try again as it might just be a defective pair.

Pros
  • comfortable riding boot that fits
Cons
  • Lack of waterproofing, which makes them unsuitable for wet weather.

Good boot, my verdict

I have bought 2 pairs of these boots so far. They last my daughter for about 2 years of active wear. She wears them 3-5 days a week while riding and works in them all day in the stable. They always break at the top of the toe where the shoe flexes naturally. But overall a good shoe for the price.

Pros
  • My 4 year old daughter uses them during her riding lessons. They are more durable than expected. Smooth and easy-closing zipper.
Cons
  • You seem to be doing the work for my granddaughter.

Great boots, sizing reviews were unreliable

These boots are beautiful and a good price for the product. Reviews here and elsewhere mentioned that they run small so I took my daughter's size. They were too big. I would have left the question of size to quality control and didn't think they were small. Save them for later and buy another pair in the right size.

Pros
  • Currently
Cons
  • Appreciate well as long as they wear them

Absolutely adorable paddock boot for girls.

I am very impressed with these boots. My 3 year old has been wearing them for a few weeks now and they still look brand new. She is very picky about the way the shoes fit her feet and she always gets me these shoes instead of a few other pairs that fit her. Trust me, that says a lot!

Pros
  • Very comfortable sturdy shoes for my 9 year old
Cons
  • There is no insulation, making them unsuitable for cold weather.

Falling apart quickly: my review

My 40 lb daughter wore them a total of 24 times for a 30 minute riding lesson. Then they parted. Very disappointed. I couldn't imagine how quickly they would wear out if we rode every day.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Color fades slightly with wear

Poor quality in my rating.

I bought these for my niece who is taking horse riding lessons. She wears them 2 times a month and the whole sole of the boot has come off the boot. Now I will wear Ariat boots. Very disappointed

Pros
  • These were Christmas presents for my granddaughter. She seems to love her. The parents were also happy with them.
Cons
  • Not durable for everyday use

They are small and skinny!

My daughter could only wear them for 30 days because they are too small and tight. We bought a size larger than she usually wears and it wasn't enough. My daughter also has narrow feet and we tried thin socks. The shoes themselves appear to be of good quality.

Pros
  • They are well preserved and easy to clean for English riding.
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with foot or ankle problems.

Adequate for the price but fell apart

They did well, good for the price. We wore these boots 2 hours a week for 1.5 years and the sole was falling off the sole. I think it's good for the price, but not outstanding.

Pros
  • Comfortable, beautiful to look at, wipeable and suitable for study or presentation. Children's riding boots at a top price.
Cons
  • inexpensive boot for growing feet. The size is small. Ordered a size up, still fits tight.

I don't think it fits

They appear to be quality boots but I had to go up a size. I pushed my daughter's legs in for her first riding lesson and they were too tight. I'm sure they would have been great otherwise. Maybe that's typical of riding boots, but I don't know. We have stopped using wellies to avoid buying multiple pairs of the wrong size.

Pros
  • Thanks
Cons
  • Bad seam that can fall apart

It seems good but not enough so I will return

I'm giving 4 stars because I can't judge the product as a whole. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my daughter usually wears but it's too small so I'm afraid we'll have to return it. But the boots look good and seem solid, but then again I can't know for sure since she can't wear them.

Pros
  • Nice looking boots but size 3 (big kid) was too small for my 8 year old. Ordered a size 4 Big Kid and hoped it would fit.
Cons
  • Poor quality materials used in construction

Unless you are a SERIOUS (twice a week) rider these are perfect. Nearly $100 for boots she'll be wearing for a few months just shouldn't have happened. She really loved them because they zipped up and helped her keep her heels in the stirrups of her English saddle without needing a knee. high boot that would get hot in summer. They cleaned well with a damp old rag and didn't have a deep/thick tread that held a lot of dirt and debris. The lack of laces to get dirty was another big plus for these

Pros
  • Sport riding boots
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect. (see size explanation below)

The boots are exactly what we expected. Riding boots with a deep fit for children. A little clarification on sizing, as there seems to be a lot of questions about sizing, and because baby sizing is sometimes hard to decipher (US only): In the US, newborns are usually size 0/1 and sizes go larger up to 13. Then Sizes start at 1 and go up to around 10/11 for women and 12/13 for men (but can be larger as some men and women may need even larger sizes. These boots start at size 8 for small children…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

If you're not a SERIOUS (twice a week every week) cyclist these are perfect. The boot she would wear for a few months just didn't exist. She really loved them because they zipped up and helped her keep her heels in the stirrups of her English saddle without the need for tall boots that would get hot in summer. They cleaned well with a damp old rag and didn't have a deep/thick tread that held a lot of dirt and debris. The lack of laces to get dirty was another big plus for these shoes. So if…

1st pair good 2nd pair bad

This is our second pair for our little rider. The first was pretty good, lasted a year through pretty hard work in the barn and was polished well for four gigs. The toe box isn't very reinforced, but the rest of the boot has held up well. This second pair had just spent half a week at an equestrian day camp. When they arrived we noticed some creases on the right side of both boots. Looks like the stitching/leather loosened a bit when the cobbler made them. We didn't have time to return them as…
