TUIO Review

I like how easy it was to set up, as well as using it in my classroom at school with students (both elementary & middle). When we use this software there are many problems regarding lag which makes me not want to continue working. It would be better if Tuio had more options when you have multiple applications running through your computer such as skype or google chrome etc., so that they doen't conflict. It's easy to use, it supports many gestures (multi touch) like scrolling etc., you can design custom skins with different colors or fonts and even customize your own gestures. I had some problems getting started but there are great tutorials online which helped me get over my initial difficulties. This software allows me to use my tablet in a more natural way, I can write notes with the stylus or finger, I can draw freely and share it with other people. The most important thing is that I can easily control the program from my computer. It's easy to learn, simple and intuitive.
