Never go camping without Tupperware. Keeps salt dry and water. We have been using this type of salt and pepper shaker for many years.

Always, always read before ordering. I thought yes and realized I had mini shakers instead of big ones. Very disappointed as I paid more for them than the larger ones. Maybe I'll learn!

These two similar shakers are nice to look at and hold. They are well made and don't take up much space on your spice rack. The cap requires careful assembly to avoid tipping errors and ensure the tabs are fully seated. The tiny, very tight-fitting lid can be opened with effort and strong fingers, but seals moisture out very well. I like them, by Revain of course.

They're great for humid climates. We rented these by the ocean where we have had constant problems with salt and sugar and they definitely keep moisture out of the salt if you close the top right away. However, I have found that due to the flat top that the salt comes out of, the salt does not shake out as easily as with a domed or conical bottom salt shaker. Actually it's not that important.
