Unfortunately not the best coat.

Buying clothes online is always a gamble. This robe was not a good game. The terry cloth is very rough, even several washes have not softened it. The robe is also an uncomfortable length, at least for me. I'm a small person and it's a little short for me and the belt is in a weird uncomfortable spot. This robe provides basic coverage for my torso, arms and thighs when I don't want to be bare which is the best I can say about it. If I were you I would look elsewhere.

Take it a size or two larger than you think you need.

I am basically satisfied because the material is comfortable and the dressing gown is beautiful. I bought Turkish robes from Costco a long time ago but haven't seen them there lately. I would recommend getting it a size or two larger than you think you need because while it fully covers me when standing up, I have to wear underwear when I'm not alone or when I'm going outside to see the pick up mail. The strap is also short. I love tying my robe straps in a bow so they can be easily undone, but

I bought this dress for my husband who was coming home from the hospital. As with many reviews I read prior to ordering, I found this robe to be exactly what my husband wanted.
