Received this little one this afternoon to replace an old worn out belt on my LP60. It fits perfectly. More importantly, the pulley is now spinning at the correct speed, both at 33 1/3 and 45. It's a bit heavier than the stock belt, so it looks like it could last a little longer than the 9 months that the original had.

This is the correct belt for the AT-PL50. Belt driven turntables are hard to buy when replacing the belt. This is really the right belt. My records don't sound like demons singing out of a worn out belt anymore, except when I'm playing Norwegian Death Metal and Debbie Gibson.

I bought this replacement belt because my turntable was slow and all my records sounded like chipmunks were singing. This belt did not fit at all. It was much smaller and almost impossible to install. When I finally installed it, I had the opposite problem: all of the vocals on the tracks sounded slow and distorted. Maybe go to a music store in your town, which I did.

Living in Florida where it is very muggy, my air conditioner works very hard to get all the moisture out of the house. Because of this, anything made of rubber (e.g. elastic straps, rubber bands, canning rings) becomes very brittle and will either fall apart or break. There is nothing I despise more than an inaccurate product description. I bought it as a spare for my AudioTechnica AT-PL50 turntable. What I received was the wrong part, about 5 inches shorter. I read the negative review and risked it. What FIRES me is the seller's inability to read the writing on the wall and get his system right.
