Reliable, durable, just not right for my application

Used this triangular stand to support my 2003 Honda CR2503. The triangular kickstand is the sturdiest I've seen, but it made the bike lean too far to one side. I decided to return because the addiction made me uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Nothing

Disappointed is Good for Motorcycles and Weightlifting

I usually have good experiences with Tusk products. It seemed solid at first, but the axle shaft bent causing my bike to fall over. It may have been user error on my part, but my '06 yz450 leaned too far. He seemed unstable. The bike would tip over at the slightest touch. I've used this about three times.

Matches the CRF250R perfectly and looks great.

Large stub fits perfectly on axle shaft. The construction is solid and the finish is chrome (it will likely scratch and eventually chip, but that wasn't the purpose of my purchase). The bottom of the triangle is straight, not curved, and may not be as stable on rough or rocky terrain. So far a great buy for concrete and flat surfaces.

A good buy doesn't pay as well as a bolt-on stand.

To accommodate a 2016 KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition. The two tips are different sizes for different sized rear axles. The small side allowed my bike to lean too far. The wide side is very narrow. I smeared it with Lucas's red lube and wiped it off. I was still holding on very tight, but this allowed it to be pulled out if I turned it in circles. It's true it's too big to hold my TTR-50e sons (but they still come with stands). I replaced this triangle with an AOMC socket screw and I love it. I…
