I knew the shelf would not fit a flat screen TV but I've read it can be easily converted to use a safe flat screen. By attaching the wooden shelf I was able to attach the hooks to securely mount the flat screen. I suggest you modify your product to be sold this way.,

This stand allowed me to place the TV on a large bay window sill so I could pull it out and turn it towards the kitchen. The TV is heavy and this thing can handle the weight with no problem. The description clearly says "no hardware", so there were no surprises with this retractable stand. Very happy with my purchase.

We needed a pull out shelf so we could watch TV from our chair. We found this vortex and it is very strong. We attached a shelf to it to hold the base of our flat screen TV. No hardware or installation guide is included, so we were the only ones there. We countersunk the screws we used to attach the shelf to the pivot to release the metal brackets.
