Terrible Performance in Mobile Antenna

As a result of my tests, I determined that this mobile antenna is a waste of money. It produced poor results and failed to meet my expectations. The antenna failed to deliver the basic functionality when used with CB and Two-Way radios. The only positive aspect of this product is its compact and sleek design. The cons outweigh the pros to the point of being unusable. Don't waste your money on this subpar product; invest in a better quality antenna from a reputable electronics brand.

Pros
  • Provides optimal performance and range for amateur radio communication.
Cons
  • The mobile design of the antenna limits its range compared to fixed antennas.

Ideal for close up

The case is plastic. Still, she doesn't look too fragile. I connected this antenna to my Radioddity DB20-G using a right angle PL259 to SO239 adapter. It's short enough to fit in a truck's cab and sit on a dash mount without touching the windshield. .This works fine for my application. It's just the right size and I can hear transmissions loud and clear.

Cons
  • I don't remember

Shockingly efficient

I wasn't expecting much from this antenna, I'm ashamed to admit it. However, after fairly extensive testing with GMRS and a few radio amateurs, this thing is amazing. No setup required. It had a very stressful SWR (between 1 and 2 in all my tests). The transmission power was what the radio stations were supposed to do. The reception worked great. Signal reports were good. Plus, it's a tough, rugged little antenna. Yes, since it's smaller your overall range will be reduced somewhat. It's…

Cons
  • A little wrinkled
