High quality leather, the case fits the Apple Pencil very well which is great as the leather "gives" with use. My only complaint is that there is only one magnet at the bottom of the pencil case and it hardly sticks to the magnetic part of BoriYuan's new leather smart case for my iPad 6/2018. The pencil case slides and rotates from a magnetized area. It doesn't stay in place and you can't safely carry it around with your iPad as shown in the photos.

Having had a leather folio style case in the past I wasn't sure I would have a case that didn't protect all sides of the tablet but this one looks and does quite well a lot of that positioning flexibility and still does a good job of protecting important details from normal (non-violent) use.
