Fits my a6400 with a 35mm lens and still leaves room on the lens. It has gaps so I wouldn't trust that for water protection alone. It is lightweight and lined with soft velvet. The velcro feels very secure.

I just received this case for my Sony a6000 and when I went to close my case the tab that prevented the zipper from opening didn't come open. It's not enough to make me return it and it doesn't render the case unusable, but it does annoy me and makes me question the integrity of the entire case.

I wear it all the time, works great for travel. Easy to open and photograph. Protects the camera from minor bumps and scratches. Good thing there is a zip pocket. used to store the charging cable and an additional memory card. often used the charging cable (battery doesn't last all day), never used a second card as it had thousands of photos.

I particularly needed a 7" case for my Sony a6500+16-55 lens with lens hood. The description is wrong - this case is closer to 6" at the seams and can stretch a bit more, but definitely not 7". If you're in the same boat as me, I've found a bag that works: a USA GEAR DSLR camera bag and a zoom lens camera bag.

I was traveling cross country recently and the neoprene case for my Sony A6000 turned out to be a great gift. It protected my camera very well and allowed me to travel without a camera bag. I like that there is a pocket on the back of the case for storing extra batteries and memory cards, especially as the batteries don't last long for the A6000. Very convenient. I wanted to use this as minimalist protection for my camera in my backpack when hiking. That's handy for my Sony Alpha 6300 and an 18-135 lens with an inch of headroom. I find the pocket on the back of the top flap handy for storing a few spare batteries. My problem stems from the missing camera structure in the case. It takes an uncomfortable effort to slide the camera back into the case. This way I only leave the lens protected, not the camera body. After all, this isn't what I was looking…
