Lasted 2.5 years: Fan motors

I bought these in February 2018 and had to replace them again in October 2020. Worked great for 2.5 years. Full disclosure, I live in Florida and use my AC everywhere I ride for 6 months. It's easy enough to replace, but I'd prefer to do this process less often.

  • Easy to use

2nd in 3 years

It is slightly noisier than the OEM blower and does not move as much air at lower speeds as the OEM blower. This is the second TYC blower I've bought in 3 years. . After a year, a crane is required to start (i.e. the brushes do not make good contact with the rotor). Pros: It fits perfectly and installs in 5 minutes (once you get it the first time). around): glove box outside, computer aside, wire harness connector, three screws.

Very good replacement, cheap and easy to use.

Did a great job on my mom's 2003 Corolla fan shroud. The exchange takes about 20 minutes. A Philips screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, and a Torx T25 screwdriver were all that was needed. Watch YouTube first before you jump in and it's a no-brainer. Her fan motor made a constant ticking noise, like a stuck sheet or paper hitting the blades, but it was actually a worn out motor. I followed YouTube's instructions for replacing and did it in 20 minutes, nice and quiet.

came beautifully packaged. box in a box. I was skeptical that this is a tyc product as it has an otiy logo or something. There was also no serial number or sticker to indicate what it was. but when i took the old one out and found that it was exactly the same and that the old one had a sticker that said tyc, i was fine. The old one was dated 2013, so if it lasts a good 7 years I'll be happy. on high settings seems to work better than the old one. Can't comment on low settings as I don't usually

just right for part

My old oven motor started making a lot of noise at medium and high volume when turning on the air conditioner or heater. It was quieter when I had it on low. I was due to replace the blower motor (and cabin air filter) in November 2011 (according to the dealer) but the noise only started last month. So I bought this new fan motor and was able to install it myself using YouTube videos and DIY websites. Took me about 20 minutes total. My old fan motor was pretty dirty and I feel very good about…

$300 saved on mechanics - hooray! Works like OEM

I had a panic attack at the mere thought of how much a mechanic would charge to purchase and install these crowns - $340. For a small rotating part accessible through the passenger cowling? Luckily I'm crazy about Revain and won't rest until I know that every problem can be solved with at least one purchase here. I googled "Matrix Blower" which sounded ridiculous but it was accurate. Another guy's delight saving $300 was all it took - it was at my door 2 days later and installed by my…

Great quality and easy installation

UPDATE: I am giving this product five stars now! While I previously mentioned the howling noise of the fan, now that noise has stopped entirely. I've been using the conditioner continuously for several weeks with no noise. Most likely, the engine had to be "run in” in order to work quietly. I highly recommend this product. Again, installation is easy (via YouTube videos) and quality appears to be OEM equivalent. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is an easy project for those with a fancy fan motor. This…

It was extremely easy to install and the delivery was excellent

It was extremely easy to install and the delivery was excellent! Carefully packed and shipped. I'm a little mechanically inclined, but thanks to YouTube and Google searches I was able to install this on my 2008 Toyota Corolla LE with minimal problems. Early last year I found out about the "Hit it" test to verify fan motor functionality and found that to be the problem. The price for this is fantastic, even better if you have Prime (less than $10 a night for me!). The whole process took about an
