When my daughter started kindergarten, she told me that she missed me a lot. The landings were difficult for both of us. I decided to give her this heart locket and put our photos in it for her to remind her at school how much I love and miss her. She wore it all the way through for the first few months and it helped her transition into kindergarten! Perfect size for a child and big enough to fit a large picture in the locket!

This is a good locket if you have one that closes properly. Of the three we ordered only two closed properly and the company sells this one by Amazon made style no longer so we were unlucky the photo room is quite large and the chain is good quality the bail is strong enough to last my only complaint is that the colors and styles are available through prime and the price is great are constantly being changed by Amazon so I couldn't replace the faulty one. :(

Was bought as a gift, I really liked it. I personally didn't like it, hence the three stars. I think it's very pretty and a good size to match the picture. However; for me personally it was very awesome. I understand the description says it is gold plated, the product information was not misleading. I just thought it looked a little cheap/fake because it's so shiny. Again, the elderly lady who received it loved it and it's not flimsy or anything including the chain. I personally just thought it
