I don't usually write reviews, but I'm hoping to save someone from buying one. Didn't expect high quality but decent enough to give to my 8 year old granddaughter; this is definitely not the case. It says it's platinum or 18k; I have to assume the seller doesn't know what it is. Once opened it won't close and I'm sure I can find something at Walmart for the same price but much better quality. This is a non-returnable item.

*updated* gold medallion for my niece. She tried to add a photo of her mother to the locket but it won't open. To get someone else's permission, you need to put the picture in the slots on the keychain. The front is engraved with "I love you" and comes in a beautiful presentation box. The necklace is beautiful but I think it would make a suitable gift for a child. My niece posted a photo of her mother there and is so lucky to have her. Comes with a velor storage bag. The locket is easy to open.

We have twins and I've always wanted a locket with a picture. All we could ever find was gold. I don't like the gold color. Even our wedding rings are made of white gold. my two childhood photos are in it. It would be a great gift for mothers, grandmothers, aunts, cousins and sisters. whoever you come with. This is a good locket if you can get one that closes properly. Of the three we ordered, only two closed properly and the company no longer sells this Amazon-made style, so we were unlucky. quite large and the chain is of good quality. The bail is strong enough to last a long time. My only complaint is that the colors and styles available through Prime and run by Amazon are constantly changing so I have not been able to replace a faulty one. :(

Looks just like the picture and as described. I'm so happy with this purchase, it's the perfect size and very light. It arrived perfectly packaged in its own box. I would buy from this seller again.

The product description said the back would be "engraved". So I seriously assume it will be engraved as on the front. But when I received the goods, I noticed that there is no engraving on the back. It's just ink.

This locket is wonderful. My seven year old daughter loves it and has worn it absolutely everywhere since she got it. Unfortunately, she has had it for a week now and the clasp no longer closes. I told her we could tape it in so she could at least wear it, but what's the point of a locket that you can't open? She's just as disappointed as me.

It's of very good quality, the only problem I see is that when I open it I feel like it might break, I do it a lot, but overall it's a really good product😀

Lokit is fine. My daughter wanted one for Christmas. The first one we got didn't close so we ordered more and got this one. It looks pretty big and feels cheap but it works and my daughter loves it. So if she's happy, I'm happy. Recommend for baby necklace/play necklace only.

My husband bought this for me as a small anniversary gift to put our photo on. I love it. We went camping for a few days and I wore it the whole trip. It seemed quite solid, didn't fall off or come loose. The length is good. I think thirty dollars would be too expensive to buy, but the retail price ($10) is fair. Got these for my daughter and her grandma, they arrived quickly and as expected except there was no engraving as advertised so it was a bit annoying but otherwise very cute for the price.

I bought it for my friend who lives far away. He usually keeps my photo in his wallet but wears a necklace. He loves the locket. This goes well with the original necklace I received. It's very pretty, except maybe he needs to change the chain. Because the clasp doesn't hold well. And I have a heart locket from this company. My clasp broke after 3 days of wearing.

This locket is wonderful. It is not too heavy, beautiful and simple in design. I am very pleased with the fact that it is easy to open so you can insert a picture.

It feels like something is coming out of a quarter of the car. Very cheap and the engraved part is on the clasp and not the medallion. You hardly see it and I was very disappointed

My daughter is still wearing this, her boyfriend made me buy it online for him and it's taking good care, hasn't peeled or faded yet.

A beautiful necklace. Opens and closes well. A 5 year old could open and close it. Didn't feel very cheap. The photos match well. Went to Walgreens and printed out Waller's size and the face fit perfectly. would recommend.

I love this locket. It's durable, stays closed, the clasp works great and the chain is strong but not heavy around the neck.

Keep in mind if you are giving this as a gift the delivery time can be 2-3 weeks (we had). I was very disappointed when I opened this after waiting so long to find that the font I had chosen was not being used. The locket has only been worn a handful of times and is holding up well. I haven't posted the photos yet, so I can't talk about them.
