Chose these after seeing an online article that rated them the best "stink catchers" for diaper pails. This was probably written by someone who paid Ubbi to use them with their diaper pail. As soon as you open the bucket, the stench dissipates.

Absolutely Terrible! If only I could describe to you the smell of this air freshener mixed with dirty diapers. Nausea and make us choke at the thought of opening the diaper pail. Ubbi doesn't do a good job on diaper odor and this product makes the smell worse when you open it to take out another diaper.

I was really surprised how well this product works. We've had our Ubbi diaper pail (love!) for 18 months, and despite my obsessive cleaning with deodorant, bleach, and antibacterial detergent, the smell of old diapers permeated the air every time I opened the latch to put in a new diaper. When I got the odor absorbing gel and put it on the bottom of the tray everything worked as described! No more smelly, penetrating cloud! I am very happy!

My son is two years old and we have had this pail since birth. This odor-stopping gel has breathed new life into the diaper pail. I ordered them and put one in our diaper pail asap. A few hours later, during another diaper change, my son's lack of diaper odor became apparent. I couldn't smell the lavender, but I was grateful that the diaper scent had settled. They smell nice, but don't think they'll completely mask the smell of baby diapers in your bucket! We've had our ubbi since February 2017 and you're not supposed to be using detergents or moisture to clean it, so I got them to try and help against the stench that seems to have gotten into the bucket itself. I am incontinent and bought these for MY diaper bin which keeps my discarded ADULTS diapers. Tried it out in the supermarket "Stick Ups" I think they are called and the glue sticks to the bucket and does NOT come off. Don't use them! You will have white sticky bits all over your diaper pail like I did 3 years later! The problem is that they just aren't effective enough. So my bucket of Ubi diapers was amazing until my baby switched from a mostly breast milk diet to a mostly solids diet. If we didn't empty the bucket every day, the smell would come out. And when the lid was opened, the smell was unbearable. We placed these Ubi odor absorbers in the bottom of the bucket along with 2 Revain charcoal odor absorbers and can now empty the bucket every other day.
