Use for kayaking, they are SUPER comfy, I didnhave to drill the holes in the sole (they are there marked but not drilled, it was super easy, kinda entertaining to do actually). They drain so fast that after getting them soaked i kept them on whilst on the kayak for over 3 hours, feet didn't get macerated (white wrinkly skin). I think they would tare easily if stuck on sharp rocks (other than the sole, that holds, i know for fact)
Pros
Used it all summer. It's a perfect fit. Love it love it, love it
Cons
The shoes can cause blisters and abrasions during extended use
I got these for our trip to Spain - and I wore them on the beach (and walking to & from the beach) and also on a sea kayaking trip - they were great! I wear a size 8 but they didn't have that size, so I got an 8.5 and they were perfect. Did not feel too big or too loose.
Pros
Worked like a charm at the beach
Cons
The shoes may not be durable enough for prolonged use
I bought a few shoes over the years but these feel really good.
I wore them across the street to set up the beach chairs and they were very comfortable on concrete and sand
Pros
She ordered womens 8.5, maybe should have ordered 9 but size not available.
at first it was slick and didnt offer much traction. after 2 trips to a sandy location it started to grip better on the docks and rocks under water. overall very happy with the quality after a few months of use.
Pros
These would be perfect for a beach, but not great for rocky lakes and rivers. The soles are too flimsy.
I needed these to be able to walk on rocks and rough surfaces. The sole is perfect. I had another brand I bought last year and the sole was too thin and it hurt walking on the dirt road. This new pair is an upgrade for sure.
Pros
Provides excellent grip on wet surfaces
Cons
The shoes may not provide sufficient support for the ankles and soles
Shoe has lasted quite well through rough beaches of Hawaii and rocky sand short hikes. Would purchase again. If having a wide foot consider sizing up. A little snug. Shoe size no
Pros
Anti-slip and anti-skid materials for added safety
Cons
The shoes may not be comfortable for those with foot disabilities
Bought this for a girlfriend for a 4-day camping trip. Terrain was everything from fine dirt to forest floor to rocky river, and in the river. She wore them pretty much non-stop the whole trip and told me repeatedly they were the best "roughing it" shoes she's ever had. Will be picking up a pair for myself!
Pros
Lightweight and compact for easy storage and transport
Cons
The shoes may be too slippery on wet stairs or surfaces
