Great value for money, one of the best offers.

A very good device for transmitting the speed of optics over the air. I moved to a private house where there is one ADSL from the Internet over a telephone line. The nearest provider with 100 Mbps optics is in a house five hundred meters from mine (well, of course, because of my desire, no one was going to pull the cable to me). I agreed that they would allocate a twisted pair cable to me in that house. Bought a couple of these Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M2. One for receiving and one for…

Pros
  • Device reliability. Quality performance.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

The task was to reach high-speed Internet from my house to my house 180 meters away. I put one Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M2 at my reception (on the wall of the house, the level of the third floor). The other one is the same for transmission in a house where there is high-speed Internet (the level of the fourth floor is on the wall of the house). Visibility is direct. It pumps the entire tariff of 50 Mbps. As if there is no wireless bridge, and the twisted pair cable comes into my apartment…

Pros
  • It works like a "Kalashnikov assault rifle", for the entire time of operation of this point, and this is 11 months, there was not a single problem with it.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.

Excellent thing! After a more powerful and expensive TP-link, with which I suffered, I'm just delighted! I don’t have a long distance, 100 meters, trees interfere, there is a lot of background noise from other networks and loco copes. I set the frequency to 30MHz and all problems disappeared. Ping is about 2-4ms, and under the full load of the torrent it barely reaches 12ms. If you need to transmit far and through houses, then pay attention to the older model M2

Pros
  • A clear signal without breaks and freezes. The setup is pretty simple. Low power consumption. Compact, lightweight body. The workmanship is excellent.
Cons
  • While everything suits 100%. I only regret that at one time I fell for the TP link and did not immediately buy normal equipment.

In the city between his and his parent's apartment, the distance is ~150 meters, almost in line of sight (through window panes and the crown of a large tree), the speed floats from 12 to 24 Mbps, depending on the density of the ether and the weather. There are similar ones in the garden, the distance is 800 meters in line of sight, the air is pristine, the speed is less than 50 Mbit never dropped at all. I wanted to take the m5 to the city, but according to the scans at the frequencies there…

Pros
  • Price, bug-free, all-weather, configurable nowhere.
Cons
  • The speed strongly depends on the contamination of the ether, but how without it. And the M5 is no longer a panacea everywhere.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Excellent model, reliable signal transmission, you can hide the SSID and many other parameters to restrict access to the communication channel (up to the allowed MAC addresses of devices) Different pros: Of the 10-15 used at work and for personal purposes, only 1 has been damaged by a thunderstorm so far (all on high-rise buildings, supports, etc., used without shelters from 2 to 5 years) With its cons: When placing two access points with the same frequency range (WiFi 2.4 or 5 MHz) at a close…

Nothing for laypeople. Best Networking Products

Christmas present for yourself. I have a hardware store about 200 feet from the router in my brick home. I was able to get a signal from my router outside the store but not inside. Also, the signal was so weak it was practically meaningless. For the last 25 years I have made my living in the IT industry. I have never installed this type of device but have made many routers and extenders. Because previous reviews pointed out very little documentation. I watched a few YouTube videos that pointed…

  • Great Price

Wonderful Product in Networking Products

Bought a set of two camping devices in which we have a permanent platform. Our RV is about 3/4 mile from the club. We've given up pretty much every possibility of the internet so far. However, since we work in the IT industry and know the brand name of this product in this field, we decided to give it a try. After consulting with the campsite owner and getting his permission, I installed the first station in the office and pointed to our camper. Then set up another tree station about 25 feet…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine

I use it to broadcast the internet to my parents house and it works great!

I am using this to broadcast the internet to my parents house and it works great! :P But seriously, I bought two of these, put one in my house and the other in my parents' house across the street. I won't go into the details of my technical setup, but essentially they work as if there is a physical cable running between our two houses. I choose the 2.4GHz band over 5.8GHz because it goes through multiple walls on both ends and 2.4GHz penetrates walls better. I didn't want to run any cables…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Hard to say

Installing the rest is pretty easy including a firmware update

I had a hard time choosing between TP-Link and Ubiquity. After having problems with other TP-Link products, I finally settled on Ubiquity. I wanted to connect to my neighbor's hotspot 700 meters away through many trees (real trees, big and tall), yes I have permission! , but not a dummy either, my computers run Linux. It took a while and many hard resets to get it working. The main problem was coming back after setting up the network in bridged mode and DHCP for LAN. I went to the Ubiquity…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible price

Amazing device! Expand your WiFi --- it's easy!

What happens when my everyday home network/Wi-Fi range extender goes down? Well, first some research. Revain is a good place to start. And you may not need to go any further. I recently encountered this problem. For many years I have successfully used both the NETGEAR N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender - wall-plug version (WN3000RP) and the NETGEAR WN2000RPT Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender - refurbished, accessed via a 'genie' of their own and connected with a chain can be combined to create incredible…
