Christmas present for yourself. I have a hardware store about 200 feet from the router in my brick home. I was able to get a signal from my router outside the store but not inside. Also, the signal was so weak it was practically meaningless. For the last 25 years I have made my living in the IT industry. I have never installed this type of device but have made many routers and extenders. Because previous reviews pointed out very little documentation. I watched a few YouTube videos that pointed me in the right direction but weren't complete solutions. It took about 3 hours to get it working properly. Lots of trial and error with settings and getting the right IP address for the devices depending on what type of router was in the house. I installed it indoors in a large room to test before installing it outside. The physical setup was pretty simple. I was able to set up an old router for access as a wireless access point in a store. Also a bit tricky. When all was said and done, I got a full signal to the store. There aren't many trees between the two crossings, and the Nanostation house is over 20 feet away and the shop is 10 feet away. Get the full speed, which is around 60Mbps when downloading, and connect it directly to the receiving nanostation's cable. Overall I'm very impressed, hope it lasts. I can't say anything about the overall reliability yet. crossed fingers
