I'm sitting 8-10 feet away on the patio (see photo). And I feel it It's subtle, but it's there. seems to be working fine. It's worth what I paid for it. And i love it. It doesn't have the heavy-duty performance of $1,000 heaters, but it gets the job done.

My guests were jealous of those who have terraces and pergolas without heating. I sent them a link to Amazon and they will definitely buy. We had a cold winter in LA and had 2 of these on the 10x20 covered portion of the deck and everyone was comfortable being outside.

A hot water bottle just to warm you up in the morning. We installed it under our patio cover. I mounted it above the window and tilted it down. The amount of heat it gives off is enough to let us enjoy the outdoors when it's the 60's outside. The board works fine. The device is lightweight and therefore easy to install. This heater works well. I was afraid of the "Orange Glow" but that's not a problem. It's compact, doesn't make noise, heats up quickly (like in 10 seconds). It seems well made and I'm glad I have the remote control version. There were no problems with the installation. I've looked at a lot of infrared heaters and this one is less expensive, uses a standard plug (not wired) and looks better.
