Works as advertised. You shouldn't connect two ethernet cables together as this is said to degrade the connection, but it seems to work fine. I have connected a 50 foot Cat 7 Ethernet to a 15 foot Cat 7 Ethernet through this port and I don't see it slowing down my internet at all. They are a bit bulky. YES for good reason. You need room for properly twisted pairs in the package. or they will be very slow when transferring files. They also don't attract moisture and acids that cheapo connectors get, or corrosion.
