Cable is a cable lol but the reason it gets 3 stars is its quality. Two head guards are supplied, but these are difficult to remove and can damage the cable in the process. When I bought this cable, I thought flat cables would look better than standard round cables, but I've found that round cables tend to last longer than flat cables if they're thin to the touch and don't require a few twists. Overall it's a decent cable if you don't plan on moving it.

I received this cable and have noticed that my computer loses connection to my internet from time to time. It turned out to be some sort of misconnection in one of the J-45's because if I wiggle it back and forth a bit the connector reconnects and disconnects so I had to replug it. It appears to be a manufacturing error. The build quality is excellent and I love that the cable is flat and I can tuck it under the carpet. I have purchased 3ft, 6ft, 15ft and 50ft multiple times and they all failed. each of Some arrived DOA, some died after a short period of use, and all don't deliver the speeds promised. They are rated at 10 Gbps but cannot even reach 0.5 Gbps. And I just want to point out that I don't use them in extreme conditions, just normal home use and they fail due to poor construction. The basic cables that you get with ISP-supplied modems and routers are of the best quality and offer full speed.
