Nice but not perfect.

They are good but expensive compared to other brands. Even after measuring the dog's legs. The straps don't fit snugly around his legs. I think it would be fine for a large dog but I'm still not sure the straps will hold the boots in place. Still good construction and easy entry and exit.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • good but not great

Essential for paw protection

These booties work great. I live in a place where it can be -30 which, to say the least, prevents my dog from doing his own thing. These ankle boots will help her walk down the street without taking her paws off the ground. You won't get wet from the snow. Like all Sho, they get wet from the rain, but dry very quickly.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No performance

High quality, custom size.

Excellent quality but the size didn't fit I put it on my feet, the pads cover perfectly but the fingers hang from above. They don't seem high enough at the ankle. Quality product, only the proportion of the size seems wrong. Fits the size of the pad but not the whole foot. But maybe my dog is just oddly proportioned 🤷‍♀️

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Expensive

Measure before ordering

Size 4 is perfect for my 30 lb Astrakhan. I went by the measurements given. I've used them for potty breaks in the yard, not sure how they'll hold up to a busy walk around the neighborhood. Keeps paws dry and should stay in place when properly dressed. My dog got used to them pretty quickly so I'm guessing they aren't very uncomfortable.

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • Not bad

Not high enough: Boots

I took the risk of buying these ankle boots because I knew they were short. I liked that the sizes seemed to fit my tall boy's feet (he's a Great Dane) but they didn't go past his dew toes. Even after tightening the straps as tightly as he could (although he didn't feel uncomfortable), they immediately fell off as soon as he started running. I do not recommend these booties for any event. Maybe they are just for running but not entirely sure as I sent them back.

Pros
  • Absolutely great!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

You and your dog will love them

That was all my dog and I needed! We had a pretty cold winter and potty training was a miserable experience for my girl, even though she was very quick and went straight to work. Searched and searched and finally found. Velcro works great! I used the criss-cross technique to hold her on my little lady's paws, but that's more of a preference. You could probably just as easily go straight with the straps. My lady loves to kick in the dirt after leaving and I didn't want to risk digging through…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
