I labored over what size to get for my king size bed. After looking at many duvet inserts and covers, I opted for just the king size. It barely covers the width of the bed. If you are wanting one for a king, I suggest the oversized or California king if you want it to go past the top edge of the mattress.

Love this however, I put it in the dryer thinking it was also safe in the dryer and completely ripped open a square or two and turned it black where it ripped. The return policy is also only a couple of months so I was unable to return it. Otherwise, it keeps me super warm both winter and summer and I sometimes get sweaty when I have it on the bed during the winter.

Comforter is nice, bit definitely not as overstuffed or fluffy as it shows in ad. Also, it is NOT cooling. If you tend to sleep hot this is not the comforter for you.

It is a wonderful product and experience. My wife and I probably will be buying another one just to have if needed. I'm a hot sleeper and wife is always on the cold side and we both have found the one thing that we should have purchased years ago. Thanks to other reviews I purchased the California king even though I have a regular king and it's perfect. Don't pass it buy, this is the one.

My fiancé is a hot sleeper—he has to get the cooling down comforters or else he just sweats all night. Those were white—they got dirty and was disgusting to see. This? Amazing. Soft, Big, and cool—but keeps you just warm enough in the winter. I will recommend this to everyone that’s looking for a new comforter!

I absolutely LOVE it! It’s really soft and comfy. I bought the king sized one, and it’s HUGE. It’s not exactly heavy, but if you’re short and tiny (like I am) it can be a workout if you buy a cover to go over it. Which I did. it definitely takes a wash to become super fluffy, or just use over a couple of days

It’s a fine comforter for someone who doesn’t have pets & wants to be hot. The polyester traps heat & makes you sooo hot. And it also static clings any hair, pet or human so after putting it on my bed clean for 30 mins & my dog laying on it it was already covered in hair which doesn’t happen with the cotton duvet covers I have. I have been sleeping with all the windows open with it being 50 degrees out each night and I am still a little hot with it on.

I’m a hot sleeper and this comforter is the perfect weight and feel for me. I have the plain white one and I add a bit of bleach when washing on just normal cycle. I do a light cycle in the dryer and I let it finish air drying hung up. It’s wrinkle free and I’ve had no issues with any of the seams/checkered squares. The reason I ordered this blanket is because I bought a "comforter” on ebay that was really cute, with strawberries all over it. This comforter insert serves its purpose inside of a duvet coverlet. It is not super fluffy so it does not bulk up a duvet tremendously. It is light weight and it has not been hot to sleep under. I have the king and it is not an exact fit for my duvet, I am not sure if is my duvet or the comforter insert.

I'm always cold when I sleep. In the Wisconsin winters, I usually have my heated mattress pad and heated blanket. I need neither with this comforter, but it still makes me sweat like crazy at night. I'm not sure why it claims to be "cooling" when I'm hot in the winter time.

The reason I purchased was for nightly hot flashes but it didn't help. Black cohosh works for me for night sweats. But I like that the comforter is lightweight and breathe-able
