Great flashlight for night fishing and/or other after dark activities. Pretty bright for walking but great for close up. By holding the switch, you can activate hands-free mode, which is especially useful when fighting big fish at night. It charges via USB, so no batteries are needed. I think I was spoiled by ridiculously low prices for some high tech items. This is a return to reality. Looks like something out of a Christmas cracker. The cheapest, thinnest plastic. You can only turn on the middle light or two external lights at the same time, you can't turn on all three lights burning together as advertised. The lamp is too weak, only the central light or two outside lights are on. You buy these headlights thinking you have all three bulbs on like in their advert pic... NO. Absolutely idiotic design. I love this little guy. I deliver for food companies and places where I live, sometimes at night it's difficult to see the address of the house, or it's not there, or it's difficult to find. I bought this because it was difficult to hold the phone up at night to shine on the house to see the address. It's very strong. It slips over my hat and stays there very well throughout the period of use. The movement is a bit delicate but nice, I can just wave my hand while looking and the lights come on.

This is a good little headlight. I have a couple of headlamps (headtorches) that are very useful, but sometimes I wear a baseball cap and headtorches don't work well with a cap. This cap lantern is a great replacement. It has a rechargeable USB battery, which is usually enough for me to do some outdoor activities during the short winter days.
