This is a good little headlight. I have a couple of headlamps (headtorches) that are very useful, but sometimes I wear a baseball cap and headtorches don't work well with a cap. This cap lantern is a great replacement. It has a rechargeable USB battery, which is usually enough for me to do some outdoor activities during the short winter days. Don't think it's enough for clearing a driveway or taking a bike ride, but it makes a good light for car servicing, picking up or bringing trash cans off the street, or just getting ready to or from work make. dawn or after sunset. I live on a poorly lit country road so after the sun goes down the road needs some sort of light to do things effectively. The lamp has two push-button switches that allow you to activate the low and high beam headlights and the low and high beam headlights. It's a little difficult to find the switches when the cover is up. But a little fuss leads to success. Where the switches are located is a glowing indicator light that glows red when charging and green when fully charged. I once lost one of these lights at work and liked it so much I bought another one.
