These are lightweight and very durable holders.

This is the second one I've bought, the first lasted 16 years and eventually the nylon bled out and had to be replaced. These are lightweight and very durable holders.

Pros
  • Model number: 89060
Cons
  • embarrassing

NO BELT LOOP

Will not attach to a regular belt. Has velcro but NO LOOP. This is a good quality radio mount but cannot be serviced with a regular strap. Attachment to the belt with Velcro.

Pros
  • Pack quantity: 1
Cons
  • Many items

Total bullshit good for portable AV

I had a general purpose holster like this when I worked in correctional facilities, that's the only reason I ordered it. Unfortunately it doesn't have a belt loop, just Velcro at the top. I had to change it to use it. The steel letter L does not run the full length of the holster, just a couple of inches meaning the holster is flexible. If I had tried to use that in prison I would have kicked it out on day one. Don't waste your time and money on this.

Pros
  • Item Type: SPORTING_GOODS
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I have a problem with the radio not slipping.

I'm having trouble keeping the radio from sliding out of the bottom of the bracket. Of course there is a way to use velcro to prevent this, but there is no instruction manual for the product and myself and other law enforcement friends have yet to figure out how to use the strap to secure the radio. When hunting on foot, the radio will definitely fall out of the holder. Again, probably a simple fix and the instructions that came with the device.

Pros
  • Duty Gear
Cons
  • Quality

then they might have a really good quality radio holster

If people knew how to fold down the top and put a belt loop on the back then they might have a really good quality radio holster. I figured it out in 5 minutes. This fits my CB Midland 75-785 portable. Great quality, good price and great buy.

Pros
  • Product Type: SPORTING_GOODS
Cons
  • High Price
