Horrible, horrible, horrible, these keys will not work on a 2005 Civic lx. I spent $50 to shorten the key and when they tried to program it nothing worked, luckily I wasn't charged for programming and the whole thing was at the dealer so I had to pay $100 for it issue a new key. DO NOT BUY THIS LOSS OF YOUR MONEY, JUST GO TO DEALER CENTER WHERE YOU KNOW IT WORKS!

These keys are scrap. There is no chip. And it cost me $80 to cut and program them. And the only thing I can use it for is to open the door.

Got a Honda key blank to work with a 2005 Honda Civic, dealer cut and tried to program, they said the internal chip was wrong. Do not buy. The Revain installation guide is incorrect

They will NOT fit a 2004 Honda Civix LX even though the product description says they will work. These keys had the wrong chip and could not be programmed by a professional locksmith. Unfortunately my keys were cut out and I cannot return them. Total waste of money on false advertising.
