What Real Men Wear Clothing

His favorite pair of socks. They are great for work shoes. They are high enough so that the toe of the boot does not rub against the leg. They also cushion the foot enough to keep you on your feet during long, hard days at work. He won't wear anything else. I would also like to have them in a darker color.

Pros
  • 68% Polyester, 16% Wool, 15% Nylon, 1% Spandex
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Poor Quality for Men

I have repeatedly bought UA socks. My most recent purchase, a pair lasted 1 wash before the heel broke. Today I wore a gray pair for the first time. After I removed my shoes, the area near my toes was torn. Quality control and craftsmanship deteriorated. I will avoid future purchases of this item. Back to Carhart work socks.

Pros
  • The technology behind Under Armor's diverse line of products for men, women and youth is complex, but the program to reap the benefits is simple: Wear HeatGear when it's hot, ColdGear when it's cold is, and AllSeasonGear when it's cold.
Cons
  • I have doubts

Great socks, not for hiking

These socks are so warm! I like them a lot but I can't use them for the purpose I bought them for: hiking. They are too thick/bulky to wear with hiking boots. If you need very warm socks to wear around the house, then this is a great option. If you are looking for hiking socks I would look elsewhere. REI sells some really great warm hiking socks to wear with boots.

Pros
  • Shoe size: men's 4-8, women's 6-9
Cons
  • So-so

Great socks. fits socks

I only wear Under Armor socks. I always have cold feet in winter. My regular HeatGear socks make them even colder. Their absorbent properties only made my cold feet colder. These boot socks from ColdGear are awesome. They keep my feet nice and warm and dry. I was afraid my feet might sweat in these socks, but no. Even when I wear them in shoes, my feet don't sweat. They get hot, but they don't sweat. I have other cold weather socks that keep my feet warm but they made my feet sweat. The socks…

Pros
  • No closure

Good quality - I keep buying more.

I buy these socks to wear with boots outdoors in winter. They are not as warm as Merino wool socks. They're fairly low in wool content, but they work well until it's cold enough to fold my socks in half, in which case I wear a thinner pair of merino wool underneath. They're thicker than regular socks, which also helps keep moisture off my foot when my shoes get too wet. They appear to be well constructed and comfortable. I am a woman with size 9.5 women's shoes and size 10 boots or size 9 men's

Pros
  • Full cushioning design for maximum comfort in all toe areas.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

My husband loves his Cold Gear coveralls

I bought 2 pairs of UA Cold Gear coveralls as a Christmas present for my husband. He owns many different brands of winter socks and works outdoors for conservation. I think he loves them because they're the only socks in the hamper. I've bought Smart Wool and Trekker socks which he likes but these are by far my best buy and cheaper. I recently ordered 2 more pairs. I wash them with towels and NO FABRIC CONDITIONER. I read in the instructions for a Cold Gear UA Mock Compression T-Shirt not to…
