I have a waist 32 and I bought size 30 and it fits great with the possibility to adjust. Maybe you could even choose 3 sizes smaller than your waist size if you want. Otherwise the belt is of excellent quality and looks beautiful.

This belt is perfect! I bought it to play golf but it looks so cool I wear it to the office too. Stretchy and woven so no holes are needed. You don't have to worry if you gain or lose a few pounds. This belt still fits!

The belt looks good and the buckle is strong and large compared to most similar belts. The size is far from it. If you just put it on the table along with other size 38 straps (mine + 2) it's 3 or 4 inches longer than any other strap. Definitely downsizing for this one. In the picture, the first two belts are size 38, the third gray belt is under the "38" armor, and the last black belt is the old belt 40 for reference.

This is a quality beautiful belt but as many other reviewers have noted it runs very large, especially the stretch material. My waist is a size 38 and I usually wear a size 40 leather belt. I ordered a 40 in this belt and it is too long. I changed it to 36 and now it's spot on.
