The belt looks good and the buckle is strong and large compared to most similar belts. The size is far from it. If you just put it on the table along with other size 38 straps (mine + 2) it's 3 or 4 inches longer than any other strap. Definitely downsizing for this one. In the picture, the first two belts are size 38, the third gray belt is under the "38" armor, and the last black belt is the old belt 40 for reference.
