I bought this as s gift to my 7 year-old grandson and he loves it. The lab coat fits with room to grow. It comes with very sturdy plastic test tubes, and all the scientific supplies. There is a book with some simple experiments in it, and though the ingredients are not included, mist are common ingredients already in the home.Great to keep younger kids interested in science and educational fun.

I bought many of these to use for my 8 year old’s science-themed birthday. They doubled as an activity as well as a parting gift instead of a traditional goody bag. It was a HUGE hit. Cannot recommend this enough.

Having a bright 5 almost 6 year old, its hard to keep her entertained and not on the "I” something electron all day. This science experiment was a great gift for my over achiever she is loving it. When the box came some of the glitter had fallen out of the box and it was a bit of a mess. But she collected all of the materials and she was good to go.

Awesome gift for a child that likes to do experiments. So far we've only done the gem stone dig and I will say, using the tools given in the kit it will take awhile to chisel the stones out so it might annoy someone with no patience.

My son is six years old. When he saw this science experiments kit, he was so excited and wanted to try different experiments. He loves this set kit so much and has such fun with it. This set can keep kids busy for a long time, and they can learn a lot by doing experiments.

This kit is awesome. It comes with most of what you’ll need for each experiment and most importantly a detailed booklet with instructions for 50 fun experiments and a gemstone digging activity. Materials not included are common household items like sugar, cooking oil, an egg, milk, or paper towels. It says "3+” on the box. The younger kids will definitely need help/supervision. But it’s quite fun, interactive, hands-on learning!

One of the best toys ever. My son loves it! It helps with fine motor skills, accuracy, measurements, even listing steps and coordination. Very well made with sturdy material. The pricing is just right as well.

This is the perfect gift for kids between 6-10years old. My kids spent hours doing experiments and laughing the whole time. Some of the activities really tested their thinking skills which I appreciated. Yes, some of them are messy, but well worth the experience for the kids.
