Great Christmas present!

Bought several boxes to engrave my sister's name on each box, decorate a little, paint and polish each box would make a great gift!

Great for crafting!

This was a gift for my niece and she loved it. She wanted a jewelry box that she could color and decorate. Worked great! She had so much fun with them.

Beautiful Solid Wood Jewelry Box Unfinished

I bought and modified them. They are kept in mini memorial urns in a velvet pouch. I bought round stainless steel pendants and took them to an engraver who engraved the name and date on the pendants and attached a small decorative chain to each pendant that fitted perfectly around the neck of the urn. Then wrapped and wrapped. It was a great presentation for a mini urn gift.

Casual design

Overall, the wood fit is good, the hinges are properly placed, but the latches were hasty. If I just wanted them for the drawers on the workbench that would be nice. But to view them up close every day, or to decorate and gift them (my intention), the squinting bars need to be rearranged. I'm not sure if it's possible without leaving at least one of the old screw holes visible. Too bad. If they were better quality I would order more. The size is exactly what I wanted. But two for two need work?
