This wireless mic with a special mic cable adapter we bought on ebay allows you to use this mic to transmit/receive at a distance of up to use up to 300 feet. This works with the Icom 7300 and 7610. The microphone has a built in speaker and is powered by the radio. There are no VFO controls, so it's nice to take it outside and play around.

This CB mic is great! This works very well for lane detection! A friend said my voice has changed a bit to CB, but I don't mind as long as he understands I'm speaking into the mic. Everyone says I speak loud and clear, so I'm happy! The only downer is, of course, charging the battery.

To eliminate the confusion, you can use either the speaker on the radio or the speaker on the microphone, or both. Just turn up the volume of what you like and turn down the volume of what you don't like. All in all, this is a great microphone. The only thing I would like to see repeated several times is the exercises while sitting in a cradle. Otherwise a very good microphone.

This microphone is going to be my favorite. But the dock should charge it, not just hold it. And if you have a compatible Bearcat radio, the DECT radio should be built in, eliminating the need for a cable and docking station. In a way, this negates some of the benefits of wireless. I think the true wireless connection with the Bearcat 980 and compact charging station will really set it apart from the competition. Draft.
