Absolutely disappointed

Ordered these for my 5 year old grandson. The wrists need elastic, the velcro doesn't stick, the zipper works and needs to be closed all the time; on both mittens. Useless on the inside and outside of the mantle because they have nothing secure to hold them in place. We were looking forward to a good snowstorm so we could play and spent all the time putting the mittens back on. Totally ruined our time outside. The only plus is the rope that goes through the coat so you don't lose them, but I'd…

Keeps Baby's Hands Warm

This set has everything a parent could want in a mitten for their child. Velcro wrist closure to keep gloves in place. Decent volume and insulation to keep fingers warm even if they get a little wet from a mix of rain and snowball. Slightly grippy material on fingers, palms and thumb area to grab backpack straps. And finally an extra line. An elastic band to keep cold air out of the underside of the mitten can also be attached to a hanging cord for hanging on hooks at school or over a tub to…

I still don't know how I feel about her.

Some reviews said these mittens run too big so I ordered a size 4-6 for my 6 year old son. They are a bit tight and my son has a hard time putting them on by himself. There is no stretch and the softness does not extend to the inside of the gloves, only up to the arms. The rope is too short and doesn't fit comfortably through the arms/sleeves of his coat. I have reordered a larger size and will decide when I get them if they are worth keeping. On the other hand, the outer material seems to be…

No more lost gloves

My son is 6 years old and has big hands. Bigger mittens for kids are hard to find so I was glad to find them. Even after he came home from school with 1 glove, I went looking for the cure a few times. Drawstring gloves are awesome. I'm surprised I don't see more little ones running around with them. The glove itself is great quality, my son loves them and doesn't seem to mind that they sag when he's not wearing them. The only downside is the hook closure from the tip to the glove, the plastic…

Good looks and functionality. Worth every penny!

My 6 year old daughter loves to play in the snow and we needed something she could play with for more than a few minutes without freezing her hands. These mittens make it possible! I like that the zipper opens completely on the side. This makes them easy to wear over a winter coat. I also like the extra elastic Velcro on the side of the glove. It holds the mittens in place and completely prevents them from slipping. The non-slip grip on the palm of the mitten allows for gripping of large…

They are best stored with gloves, mittens and balaclava

I have a 4 year old who knows that when it's time to put on mittens he can play in the snow but in the end he will they do it out and they lose it. unless they are connected in some way. With these mittens I don't have to worry about getting lost as they are attached to each other. While it's still warm and not snowing, we tried them on him along with his jacket to make sure they didn't come loose on one side and lose both. From the look of these mittens they have room to grow, but we still saw
